ACOUSTICS
Sound Absorption
In order to improve interior sound control, the metal ceiling panels can be perforated and also fitted with non-woven acoustic tissue or an acoustical pad. The diameter of the holes in mini perforated panels is .059" (1.5mm) in a .118" (3mm) triangular pattern, the apertures represent 23% of the perforated area. Fiberglass encapsulated acoustic pads can be used to achieve acoustic absorption. Also non-woven acoustic textile is available which is adhered to inside the panels automatically during production.
