NESTLé CHOCOLATE MUSEUM

NESTLé CHOCOLATE MUSEUM

Location:

Mexico City, Latin/ North America

Architect/Specifier:

Michel Rojkind The Nestlé’s chocolate Factory in Mexico City (located near Toluca) was in need of an inner pathway for visitors to witness the production of their favorite chocolates. As the new image of the factory, the boldly designed 300-meter long façade runs along the motorway and leads right to the factory. This building rises from ground level, becoming an entryway into a magic world, and the shapes and spaces contained in it are stretched to the limit, creating dramatic and expansive architecture. The panels used, CD 408 from Hunter Douglas – with red exterior and white interior – makes the structure an icon in neighboring Toluca.
