FURONGWANG CIGARETTE PRIME WORKSHOP RENOVATION PROJECT OF CHANGDE TOBACCO PLANT

FURONGWANG CIGARETTE PRIME WORKSHOP RENOVATION PROJECT OF CHANGDE TOBACCO PLANT

Location:

Mainland China (中国), Asia

Architect/Specifier:

CNGC Wuzhou Engineering Design and Research Institute The prime workshop features facades products, ceilings and some cladding panels by Hunter Douglas, which are aligned with the qualities of Furongwang Cigarettes – its fresh elegance and airy quality. It is an ideal translation of the high-end brand's motto, "Values are the way that leads to success". The entire building is sheathed in a gleaming silver grey and maple red finish created with Hunter Douglas' QuadroClad façade panels. The unique design for parapets and sills projecting over the bottom of windows help to prevent dirty traces of rainwater on the outer skin of the facades. The inner cladding is a bright and cozy solution, combining the corrugated grained panel with stove enameled steel panel. The upper inner walls, covered with grained panels, are designed in a scientific tapering fashion – representing the physical manifestation of acoustics. The workshop ceiling features 1200*1200 TechstyleTM Acoustical Ceiling with aluminum panels at regular intervals to cover the above-ceiling pipelines, and create a continuous and clean look overhead.
